OneMoreSecurity announced that its FIDO-based authentication solution OMPASS has been listed on AWS Marketplace.
OMPASS is a solution that complements the limitations of conventional password-based authentication by leveraging FIDO-based methods including biometric authentication, PIN, and OTP. It reduces security threats such as password theft, phishing, and account takeover, while delivering a more seamless login experience for end users.
With this AWS Marketplace listing, customers can now search for and deploy OMPASS directly within their AWS environment without going through complex procurement processes. The move is expected to enable organizations that require robust user authentication — including cloud-native businesses, public institutions, and those in the financial, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors — to implement FIDO-based authentication more efficiently.
Through OMPASS, OneMoreSecurity supports passwordless authentication across a wide range of environments, including web service login, internal system access, server authentication, and Windows or macOS login. The solution is also built with interoperability in mind, offering flexible authentication configurations tailored to each customer's existing infrastructure.
"Being listed on AWS Marketplace is significant in that it establishes a foundation for OMPASS to be utilized not only domestically but also in the global cloud market," said a OneMoreSecurity spokesperson.
