The convergence of AI (artificial intelligence) and SW (software) is giving new life to local industries. In line with the government's digital transformation trend, each region is accelerating digital innovation by converting traditional industries such as manufacturing, logistics, tourism, and agriculture into high value-added industries. The regional SW industry development council, along with 17 SW promotion organizations nationwide, is stepping up efforts to innovate industrial structure and create a digital ecosystem. This year, it has achieved meaningful results in creating new growth through AI convergence, resolving regional issues, and transforming industrial structure. (Approved)
Addressing Regional Issues with Digital Technology
Sejong Techno Park has advanced OneMore Security Co., Ltd. and multi-modal intelligent video analysis platform "Onemore Eye" to AI services specialized in public and industrial safety. By analyzing images with VLM technology, the company has increased detection accuracy and reduced false positive rate. It is contributing to strengthening public security in Sejong City by searching for missing persons and detecting crimes. It occupies about 10 percent of local governments nationwide and is gradually expanding its scope.
