The first information and communication technology (ICT) fair hosted by Seoul City, 'Smart Life Week (SLW),' is just ten days away.
At the exhibition site, visitors can see the combination of various smart city ICT technologies such as traffic light poles, streetlight poles, closed-circuit televisions (CCTV), public Wi-Fi, the Internet of Things (IoT), intelligent CCTV, battery charging, etc. Visitors can also experience the Seoul City AI high-speed search system that uses existing CCTVs to find missing persons and criminals through simulation.
A Seoul city's official said, “The Seoul Metropolitan Government has focused on creating a showroom space that contains messages, going beyond the existing corporate exhibition halls that focused on booth allocation,” and “Just as CES, which used to be a home appliance fair, has transformed into the world’s largest cutting-edge technology competition venue, we will go one step further from an ICT exhibition and become a platform that connects technology, people, cities, and companies.”
