Video analysis speed is now 10 times faster with on-board same-person re-identification algorithm based on attributes
[Security News Reporter, Eun-ju Park] OneMoreSecurity, an artificial intelligence and information security specialist, recently announced that intelligent video analysis all-in-one safety platform OneMoreEYE (OMEYE) v2.0 is recently launched and has been designated as an innovative procurement product by the Public Procurement Service.

Procurement innovation products are products designated by the Public Procurement Service after evaluating their public nature, social value, innovation, and marketability. The Public Procurement Service provides diverse support to companies designated as procurement innovation products so that they can grow through the public procurement market and successfully advance into overseas markets in the future, thereby leading to innovative growth.
Designated as an innovative product, ‘OMEYE v2.0’ has been improved by enhancing the video analysis speed 10 times faster than the first released version of OMEYE v1.0 through algorithm lightening and architecture improvement, and by further improving the algorithm performance. In particular, it is equipped with an algorithm for re-identifying the same person based on attributes. This is an algorithm developed using non-public learning data acquired while performing a two-year project as the main organization of the ‘AI Convergence National Safety Securing and Rapid Response Support Project’ with a budget of over 10 billion won invested by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
Meanwhile, since OneMoreEYE v1.0 was also designated as a innovative procurement product in 2021, it has been certified as a new product by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NEP) and designated as an excellent procurement product by the Public Procurement Service. It is currently being supplied to and operated by numerous clients.
Min Sik Kim, CEO of OneMoreSecurity, said, “This is the second time we have been designated as an innovative procurement product since the foundation of OneMoreSecurity, and it is a great achievement as we have been selected after going through a rigorous evaluation process.” He added, “We are also preparing to enter overseas markets as our quality excellence has been verified through the establishment of solutions for many domestic clients.” CEO Kim also said, “Based on our intelligent image analysis technology, we will focus more on securing source technology and intellectual property rights and grow rapidly as a computer vision specialized company as we have obtained a TI-2 rating in the investment technology credit rating.”
OneMoreSecurity is a startup founded in 2019 that focuses on developing intelligent video analysis solutions for smart city. Recently, it has expanded its supply to include intelligent screening control solutions for public and industrial safety, and is also preparing to launch cloud-based services from on-premise-based solution supply. In particular, it is focusing on improving industrial safety prevention services in line with the expansion of laws on punishment for serious accidents.
