[보안뉴스 엄호식 기자] 인공지능·정보보호 전문기업 원모어시큐리티(대표 김민식)는 FIDO 기반 사용자 인증 솔루션인 ‘원모어패스’에 100% SW기반 MS 윈도우즈 운영체제 FIDO 로그온 서비스를 론칭했다고 밝혔다.

FIDO 솔루션(서비스) 공급기업들에서 third-party 제품으로 윈도우즈 Hello 로그온 서비스를 이용한 HW 장치(USB 타입) 기반의 MS 윈도우즈 운영체제 FIDO 로그온 서비스를 제공하고 있으나 100% SW 방식으로의 제공은 원모어시큐리티가 유일하다.
이 서비스는 국내 사용자들이 SW 방식을 더 선호한다는 것을 고려해 개발했으며 네트워크가 단절된 오프라인 환경에서는 Time-Based OTP(One-Time Password)를 이용해 2차 인증이 가능하다. 기업(기관)에서는 직원들이 사용하는 MS 운영체제 PC 단말에 FIDO 기반 MS 운영체제 로그온 2차 인증 서비스를 강제화해 보안성을 강화할 수 있다.
원모어패스는 로그인 보안 강화를 위한 차세대 통합 인증 솔루션으로써 기존 사용자의 아이디·패스워드 로그인 방식에 사용자 선택형 생체 인증·간편 인증 방식의 2차 인증 서비스를 추가해 강력한 보안성을 제공한다. 사용자는 패스워드를 없애고 원모어패스 인증만 적용할 수도 있다.
사용자는 다양한 최신 인증 수단을 이용해 PC 또는 모바일에서 원하는 인증방식을 선택할 수 있고, 관리자는 복수의 시스템에 원모어패스를 적용해 강력한 접근 제어와 사용자 인증 현황을 파악하며 통합 인증관리 시스템을 구축할 수 있다.
원모어패스는 공개키 기반의 FIDO 표준 인증방식 준용에 따라 패스워드 인증의 위험요소를 완벽히 해결하며 TTA GS 1등급 인증, FIDO Alliance FIDO2 국제 인증, NIPA 클라우드컴퓨팅 인증 획득으로 품질·성능을 검증했다. 수요기관은 원모어패스 구축형 뿐만 아니라 클라우드 구독형으로도 도입이 가능하다. 현재 AWS 환경에서 국내외 기업을 대상으로 클라우드 구독형 서비스를 제공하고 있으며, 클라우드 서비스 확대를 위해 AWS 마켓플레이스에 원모어패스 서비스 등록을 준비하고 있다.

[Security News Reporter, Ho-sik Um] OneMoreSecurity (CEO, Min-sik Kim), a company specializing in artificial intelligence and information security, announced that it had launched 100% SW-based FIDO logon service for MS Windows operating system by ‘OneMorePASS (OMPASS),’ a FIDO-based user authentication solution.

FIDO solution (service) providers provide MS Windows operating system FIDO logon service based on HW device (USB type) using Windows Hello logon service as a third-party product, however 100% SW method provided by OneMoreSecurity is unique.
This service was developed considering that domestic users prefer the SW method, and in an offline environment where the network is disconnected, secondary authentication is possible using Time-Based OTP (One-Time Password). Enterprises (institutions) can strengthen security by forcing the FIDO-based MS OS logon secondary authentication service on MS OS PC terminals used by employees.
OneMorePASS (OMPASS) is a next-generation integrated authentication solution for strengthening login security. It provides strong security by adding secondary authentication services such as user-selectable biometric authentication and simple authentication to the existing user's ID/password login method. Furthermore, users can also get rid of the password and apply OMPASS authentication only as well.

It is currently provided by AWS based cloud subscription services to both domestic and foreign companies, and is preparing to register OMPASS service in the AWS Marketplace to expand cloud services soon.
