OneMoreSecurity (CEO Min-sik Kim) announced that he would bring paradigm in the video security market with the launch of 'OMEYE', a human (vehicle) movement path tracking and visualization service through multiple CCTV video-linked called 'Re-ID'
According to statistics from the National Police Agency, more than 40,000 missing persons were reported annually over the past five years, and about 4,000 people were not found.
Currently, the rate at which the intelligent screening control system is introduced is about 20%, and in particular, only the second-generation video analysis service that detects simple scenario-based events in a single CCTV image is provided.
For this reason, when it is necessary to track the movement path of an object, the control agents need to directly analyze the video with the naked eye, and spend at least 30 minutes based on one hour of video.
According to the company, when OMEYE is introduced, an hour's worth of video can be analyzed within 2 minutes. The analysis time per CCTV can be dramatically reduced by more than 30 times.
In addition, it is possible to track multiple objects (persons/vehicles) at the same time, which has the advantage of further reducing the time required for image analysis. The artificial intelligence model guarantees high accuracy, and in particular, the facial recognition technology has been verified with 99.96% high accuracy through ‘K-NBTC certified certification from KISA’.
The biggest advantage of OMEYE is that it can be applied to the existing CCTV environment, so there is no need to purchase a separate CCTV to introduce a new security system.
In addition, OMEYE is specialized in 'Re-ID' technology, which can recognize objects through various body features as well as faces, and can track the movement path of objects captured on CCTV.
If this technology is applied, even when the face is not properly taken, it can recognize the target and track the location by analyzing such as the clothes, body type, and hair.
Therefore, it is possible to identify not only the person in front of the CCTV camera, but also the person from the side or behind.
Face recognition technology is owned by many domestic and foreign companies, so competition is fierce, but only few companies have the 'Re-ID' technology.
According to a specialized research institute, the domestic video security market is worth 1.62 trillion won in 2021, and the global AI CCTV market is expected to reach 90 trillion won by 2025. The growth rate of all video security-related markets is also close to 10%.
Min-sik Kim, CEO of OneMoreSecurity, said, “We have completed obtaining some accredited certifications and have secured intellectual property rights for commercialization. In the second half of this year, we plan to continuously upgrade the applied AI model for high-accuracy matching by learning a large amount of data, and to verify the performance of all added functions through official tests.”
He said, "the Public Procurement Service is expected to designate an innovative prototype in the second half of the year and NEP new product certification is expected to promote in the first half of 2022. Currently, local governments and department stores in Korea are reviewing specific introduction plans through POC.” he added.
He added, “As a startup specializing in InfoSec&AI, we will continue to work with a variety of leading customers based on our artificial intelligence and security technology to expand business, policing, security, transportation, finance and healthcare along with our daily shopping, parking lot, and workplace. We will build one more security for everyone in the smart city society by providing safe intelligent services to all areas of our life"
