[이뉴스투데이 김용호 기자] 대전창조경제혁신센터(센터장 임종태)가 운영 중인 대전 지역 기반 스타트업 투자유치 역량강화지원을 위해 지난 14일부터 15일까지 센터 내 교육장에서 ‘기술금융플랫폼 운영사업’ IR-DAY를 개최했다.
이번 행사에서는 첫째 날 투자자 10명을 초청해 기업설명회를, 둘째 날은 투자자들과 1:1매칭을 통해 투자상담을 진행했다.
참여한 기업들은 매칭마인드(반려동물 미용 고객관리 시스템), 디비디랩(UX,UI진단 플랫폼), 아이캡틴(인공지능 선박재난 대피 솔루션), 와이테크(세라믹 소재기술 기반 회로부품 제조), 진온바이오텍(디지털PCR 기반 패혈증 조기진단 솔루션), 더웨이브톡(박테리아 검출 센서), 크럭셀(치과 영상진단장치 솔루션), 원모어시큐리티(주요정보유출방지 올인원 솔루션), 쿡플레이(인공지능 개인맞춤형 임산부 영양관리 서비스), 써랜라잇(반려동물용 IOT급식기) 등 우수 기술 기반 스타트업 10곳이다.
대전 지역의 유망한 예비, 초기 스타트업을 발굴하고 투자유치를 지원하기 위해 대전창조경제혁신센터가 5년간 진행하고 있는 해당 지원사업을 통해 참여기업은 기업 진단, BM 고도화, 피치덱 제작, 피칭스킬 향상에 이르는 코칭 프로그램 과정을 진행하며 기업의 투자유치역량을 강화하는 시간을 가졌다.
행사에 참여한 김학진 진온바이오텍 대표는 “이번 ‘기술금융플랫폼 운영사업’ 프로그램을 통해 IR역량이 많이 강화되었다. 이를 바탕으로 효과적으로 피칭 할 수 있었고, 이번 IR-DAY에서 투자 네트워크 형성 뿐 아니라 이후에 있을 다른 IR활동에도 큰 도움이 될 것”이라고 말했다.
임종태 대전창조경제혁신센터 센터장은 “공공 액셀러레이터로서 앞으로도 스타트업의 성장의 원동력인 투자유치를 위해 투자자들과의 네트워킹, 판로개척 지원을 계속 할 것”이라며 “이번 IR-DAY가 참여기업들이 투자유치를 받는 기회가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

Participating companies had time to strengthen the company's ability to attract investment by conducting a coaching program with management consulting, upgrade BMs, produce pitch decks, and improve their pitching skills through this support project, which the Daejeon Center for Creative Economy and Innovation has been running for 5 years, to discover promising preliminary and early start-ups in the Daejeon region and support investment attraction.
Jin on Biotech CEO Hak-jin Kim, who participated in the event, said, “Through this 'Technology Finance Platform Operation Business' program, IR capabilities have been greatly strengthened. Based on this, I was able to pitch effectively, and it will be of great help to not only the formation of an investment network at this IR-DAY but also other IR activities in the future.”
Jong-tae Lim, head of Daejeon Creative Economy Innovation Center, said, “As a public accelerator, we will continue to support networking and market development with investors to attract investment, which is the driving force for the growth of startups. I hope to have the opportunity to receive it.”
