[보안뉴스 엄호식 기자] 인공지능·정보보안 솔루션 전문 기업 원모어시큐리티가 탄자니아 정보보안 전문 기업 ‘TechnoPro Africa(테크노프로 아프리카)’와 탄자니아 및 아프리카 전역 사업 추진을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 20일 밝혔다.

MOU 체결식은 대한무역투자진흥공사(KOTRA)가 주관하는 ‘글로벌 모바일 비전 2022(GMV 2022)’행사를 통해 진행됐다. ‘GMV 2022’ 행사는 국내 기업 300개사와 해외 바이어 250개사가 참관하는 국내 최대 규모의 ICT 분야 비즈니스미팅 및 수출·투자 상담회이다.
TechnoPro Africa는 탄자니아 및 아프리카 현지 시장에서 문서보안 솔루션을 중심으로 다양한 정보보안 솔루션을 공공기관 및 기업에 제공하는 탄자니아의 유망 IT 기업이다.
원모어시큐리티는 최근 탄자니아 및 아프리카 전역에 자사의 출력 제어 솔루션인 ‘오엠에스 시큐어 프린트(OMS Secure Print)’의 출시 준비를 마쳤다. 원모어시큐리티는 TechnoPro Africa를 통해 아프리카 전역에 오엠에스 시큐어 프린트를 시작으로 FIDO 인증 솔루션인 ‘원모어패스(OMPASS)’와 지능형 영상 분석 솔루션인 ‘원모어아이(OMEYE)’ 등을 서비스할 예정이다.
티모시 무나(Timothy Muna) TechnoPro Africa 대표는 “현재 아프리카의 많은 정부기관과 기업에는 정보보안 시스템이 제대로 구축되어 있지 않아 원모어시큐리티 솔루션과 같은 차세대 IT 솔루션 도입이 꼭 필요하다. 나아가 지능형 영상 분석 솔루션과 같은 스마트시티 혁신기술이 탄자니아 정부 등 아프리카 시장에 도입될 수 있도록 힘쓰겠다”라고 말했다.
김민식 원모어시큐리티 대표는 “2030년부터 전 세계에서 가장 높은 성장률을 기록할 것으로 기대되는 곳이 아프리카라고 생각한다. 앞으로 원모어시큐리티는 현지 유망 IT 기업인 TechnoPro Africa와 함께 아프리카 전역에 차별화된 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 적극적으로 지원할 것”이라고 말했다.
한편, 원모어시큐리티는 2019년 설립된 국가보안기술연구소 창업기업으로 탄자니아 TechnoPro Africa 외에도 미국 We-bridge World, 베트남 SAVIS Technology Group 등 다양한 해외 유망기업들과 현지 사업을 전개하고 있다.

The MOU signing ceremony was held at the ‘Global Mobile Vision 2022 (GMV 2022)’ event hosted by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). The ‘GMV 2022’ event is the largest ICT business meeting and export/investment conference in Korea, attended by 300 domestic companies and 250 overseas buyers.
TechnoPro Africa is a promising IT company in Tanzania that provides various information security solutions to public institutions and companies, mainly document security solutions, in Tanzania and African markets.
OneMoreSecurity recently prepared to launch its print control solution, OMS Secure Print, across Tanzania and Africa. Through TechnoPro Africa, OneMoreSecurity plans to provide services such as 'OMPASS', a FIDO authentication solution, and 'OMEYE', an intelligent image analysis solution, starting with OMS Secure Print across Africa. .
Timothy Muna, CEO of TechnoPro Africa, said, “Currently, many government agencies and companies in Africa do not have proper information security systems, so it is imperative to introduce next-generation IT solutions such as OneMoreSecurity solutions. Furthermore, we will do our best to ensure that innovative smart city technologies such as intelligent image analysis solutions can be introduced to African markets such as the Tanzanian government.”
Kim Min-sik, CEO of OneMoreSecurity, said, “I think Africa is expected to record the highest growth rate in the world from 2030. Going forward, OneMoreSecurity will actively support the provision of differentiated services throughout Africa together with TechnoPro Africa, a promising local IT company.”
Meanwhile, OneMoreSecurity is a start-up company of the National Security Technology Research Institute established in 2019. In addition to TechnoPro Africa in Tanzania, We-bridge World in the US and SAVIS Technology Group in Vietnam are developing local businesses with various promising overseas companies.
